Sunday, June 7, 2015 - Popped and decanted for 30 minutes. Drank over a two hour period. Ripe red fruit on the nose, with earth and brown spice undernotes. Medium body on the palate and short to medium length. Fruit-forward, but certainly not a fruit bomb. Subtle notes of earth and cocoa powder. Improved only incrementally in the glass over the next 90 minutes. Not much tannic backbone and an unremarkable finish. Not sure this will benefit from cellaring....probably should be drunk short-term.
