Saturday, November 23, 2013 - In a blind tasting, I'd have mistaken this for a chardonnay-dominated champagne. Pale lemon, medium sized bubbles and rather short of mousse, everything else is just 'a point'. Layered intense aromas of green apples, toast and citrus, followed by a just off dry, medium bodied, rich mouthfeel wine with excellent balance and racy acidity, leading to a persistent finish with lots of complexity.
