Wednesday, October 22, 2014 - Light but bright yellow gold. Good acidity is not tart but refreshing. I was neutral toward my first bottle, which seemed clean but lacked interest. This bottle is better probably more due to me than the wine itself. The nose is clean, with notes of lemon, chamomile, fennel. Went well with baked fish.

Sipping it later by itself, I noticed that the wine lacks the unctuous quality I associate with other white Rhone varieties and the taste of alcohol was rather salient.
