91 Points

Saturday, March 24, 2018 - Ultra ripe black plums, cassis, olives, red bell peppers with strong minerals and earthy notes. Palate is very spicy, filled with black berries, earth and Indian spices from entry to finish. Rich, with some acidity in the mid-palate. Finish is lingering, a touch of tannins to round off the structure.

Tasted again in Feb 2019, notes remain unchanged. Overall still on a more reserved and structured style of Barossa Shiraz. The undertones of cedary oak emerged in the aftertaste. At its peak now and will last for another decade.
