Saturday, November 22, 2014 - Tenth Annual White Truffle Dinner (Chez Weber - Chicago IL): In Lafon Perrieres vertical. A last minute addition to replace the off bottle of 2001. This showed mots of apple and pear aromas and flavors, with the palate today dominated by very pronounced acidity and minerality. Very long and well textured, this needs at least 3-5 years in the cellar, but has real wow potential.
