Friday, May 12, 2023 - The nose was downright funky to begin with. Blew off rather quickly. Opted for a decant to see how it evolved. There was a moment of pleasure initially but you had to dig for it. Sour cherry, woody, prune, raisin, it’s just done in my opinion. A great chateau making excellent wines, this one is past its day.
