Saturday, July 2, 2005 - A very aromatic wine - violets, burnt toffee and pleasant herbs in the background. Furry tannins noticeable, especially on finish. Fruit very much secondary - this is all about structure. Very good "food" wine - works great with lamb. Enjoyable drinking now, but might improve slightly over the next five+ years. Selected at a restaurant, as everything else was way to young to consider in such a style.
