Wednesday, December 31, 2003 - Medium golden colour. Excellent nose of nuts, honey, melon and burnt wood. Built into a nicely dimensioned framework, and bursting with nice flavours of ripe fruit, honey and roasted almonds. Classy and elegant, but also rich and oily. Drinking exceptionally well on the night, and a fantastic match for our Varhôna chocolate mousse desert. The two seemed to intensify the flavour of each other. A very long finish. (from half bottle).
