Sunday, December 28, 2014 - Christmas Champagne Tastings 2014: Tasted alongside the 04 Grande Année Rosé. This was classical Bollinger with plenty of muscle and pinot-notes. Was still very young but very enjoyable. though objectively of the same quality as the rosé, then the rosé was just slightly more charming today. Bollinger reconfirmed it's place as one of my favorite champagne Grande Margues (with Pol Roger), and I still think that the Grande Année is of the same quality as most prestige cuvees.
