Sunday, January 13, 2013 - Dark fruit and scorched earth all the way through. Black cherries, currant, leather, burning cigar and campfire on the nose. More of the same across the palate with an invasion of firm tannins and a long, lingering finish. Decant is a must. Decent by itself but this wine would be a steak lover's dream. Needs a few years in bottle. Screen for sediment.
