Sunday, March 9, 2014 - This was really showing well. Very earthy, bordering on funky on the aromatics, but for me it was of a rustic quality, not off putting at all. Medium bodied, lots of structure, but nice fruit and more earth on the palate. This is a really nice Chianti, at a fair price. It is much better with food of course, with the savory characters really coming out.
