Saturday, July 21, 2007 - Decanted for 2 hrs and drank over the next 2. Nice youthful dark ruby/cranberry color. Beautiful complex nose of berries, cherry, chocolate, spice and tar. Medium body with a palate of upfront flavors of cherry, cedar and spice. This is a little more "new world" in style. Slightly hollow on the mid palate leading to a medium finish. This is thinner than most other 99's I have had. Delicious but more Rosso di Montalcino or Chianti Classico Reserva like than Brunello. TampaSteve 89
