Wednesday, October 29, 2008 - 2nd bottle with same results. On the nose, sour cherry carmel smashed on a wet 2x4. This wine is a bit bubbly. Some nice sour cherry up front under too much oak. Then I get some of what I call fingernial polish with a flat finish as though you got to the end of you Haagen-Dazs bar and just kept sucking on the wood stick too long. It is the fingernail polish aspect that really downgrades this for me.
