Sunday, May 19, 2013 - Dark purple, lightening towards the edges.
Smell is heavy on the ethanol, reasonably bright, dark, blue fruits, spices. Evolved to more raspberry and vanilla notes by 1.5 hrs decant, rhubarb pie.
Taste is notably rounded tannins but still big fruit, alcohol and oak. Spicy. The acetone vibe never blew off taste wise, but the oak and fruit opened up to mask it more, making it a solid, well aged new world cab. Solid QPR.
