Monday, March 17, 2014 - Having little experience with Burgundy, I tasted this at a blind tasting after trying a lower priced Chateau Thiven Cote de Brouilly Burg, and I thought this wine may have been from the new world. Ample fruit compared to the first wine, and the mushroom, earth, and gravel are more in the background. However, once we moved on to the new world stuff, it seemed more possible it was a Burg. Very enjoyable wine, I would consider buying a bottle.
