Friday, February 16, 2007 - Orange pink color with restrained fizz. Initially the palate struck me as sweet, but after a few minutes some good minerality came through, hint of chalk on the finish. Note of licorice on the nose to go with sweet strawberry fruit. There is fruit on the palate but it's not overwhelming. Nice tart acidity, food friendly.
