Thursday, May 14, 2015 - Shy and a bit sweet aromas of strawberries/raspberries, vanilla(strange? as obviously no new oak here), hint of tar, smoke.
Super duper dry on the palate, big tannins, no doubt, but at the same time kind of sweet. Just a gorgeous red berry galore, surprisingly fruit forward, with the usual nebbiolo tar, rose petals, smokiness. Man, I can just imagine how good this can get, enourmous potential here.
Has a ridicilously long aftertaste, just goes on and on and on, with tobacco, dark chocolate, even more dark chocolate wrapped around raspberry candy. Love this!
