Tuesday, December 10, 2013 - What a great wine for the money ($20-ish)! Languedoc (next to Cotes du Rhone) Grenache-Syrah blend is really fruit forward, inky... Lots of berry and earthy tastes, luscious but hardly timid. Does not taste oaked, believe this may be aged in concrete tanks?
Good food wine...enough acid to stand up to many dishes. Drink Now, do not hold. Highly recommend if you like more robust, fruity reds.
