Thursday, April 2, 2015 - 13.1% alcohol. Nice to let this rest for a couple years and see how it develops. At the price, it's so attractive to just drink immediately. But this is a good reminder that, even at this price, it's a wine worth letting unwind for a few years. Light cherry color. Uncomplicated but delicious. Pure black cherry and plum fruit, with good remaining acidity that brightens up the earthy spice notes. Solidly persistent finish. Really enjoyable. A-
