Sunday, March 24, 2013 - Smells distinctly Oregon but shows brighter cherry components on the nose and a bit of burnt wood. The palate shows bright cherry and raspberry fruit. Pretty intense for a 2011, which pairs nicely with the stronger acidity and tannic structure this wine carries. As the structure relaxes in the finish there is a touch of sweet red fruit left over which is quite nice. This is one I would age.
