Tuesday, May 12, 2015 - Dark purple color. Oak and spice prominent on nose. Rich blackberry and cherry fruit, full bodied; fennel and spicebox. Big, forward but well balanced, with 70% Merlot and 30% Cab Franc, I would be hard pressed to identify this as a Merlot dominant blend. 14.9% abv. Drinking well now but should drink well in the next 5-10 years as well.
