Wednesday, January 6, 2016 - Agree with many of the notes about having an early drinking window. Off the bat, ready to go notes of blackberries, bbq spice, underbrush and some graphite. Mouth coating smooth entry, some underlying tannin and spice on the palate. Really nice and ready to go. Likely to improve some with time, but ready to go tonight after pouring through a vinturi into a decanter, then consumed over an hour.
