Saturday, January 20, 2018 - Served with grilled veal chops over pureed parsnips. Decanted 30 minutes before pouting.
Ruby red, nice deep color.
Luscious cherry nose, almost sweet, with undercurrent of lively fruit.
Earthy cherry palate, acid to balance, soft tannin. Good finish.
This wine grew with time - strawberry/raspberry/leather. Very nice, went well with the veal.
