Saturday, March 11, 2017 - I never drink young Bordeaux, so this was an educational lesson. I rather like it but it won't change my mind about the best time to drink these wines. The fruit is bold yet not overpowering, to its credit. Acidity is sound, even high. Tannins are also high but ripe. Of course there's not much complexity or subtlety at this infant stage. And there's decent structure so that it is by no means a fruit bomb. Good stuff but I won't seek it out since I lack the patience to age it.
