Thursday, October 21, 2021 - Dark currant nose with leather, a bit of heat, and both red and black licorice notes. A gentle palate with pretty dry red fruit layers and caressing earth flavors, along with some cigar box. Iron, minerals, and mostly resolved tannins with a long finish of wet earth, wet stone, shale, black plum, and potter's clay.
