Saturday, June 6, 2020 - Medium gold in the glass and reticent on the nose at fridge temperature - shows just a touch of sulphur (not faulty). With warming, the nose turns to aromas of baked apple, and just a hint of cement. The palate is medium+ bodied, creamy in texture and off-dry. While not quite as sweet as I expected, it expands on the palate as it warms in the glass. Flavors of apple and burnt pear, and a medium-long finish. The acidity has mellowed and this is drinking very well - should hold in this nice place for several more years.
