Saturday, March 7, 2015 - Been reviewing the recent Willamette vintages of late: 2007 doing great, on advice holding 2008, 2010 too few to drink (birds), and the more recent ones too young yet. Which leaves 2009 for now. Interesting contrast to '07, way lower on the acidity, but fleshier. Last tasting was most encouraging, and this was just as good if not better. Effulgent aroma, bright tart cherry with notable mineral (sort of volcanic element?), earthier notes, lingering finish. More please.
