Tuesday, September 6, 1988 - At lunch at Circolo (petrale sole) with others from the firm welcoming new associate John Schaeffer. Light gold. Green apple aroma is very nice. Lively acidity on the palate pairs nicely with fairly rich fruit and vanilla oak, especially on the mid-palate and aftertaste. Very interesting, complex finish. 4-11-16-7: 88/100.
