Thursday, August 29, 2013 - Pale yellow. Am surprised by the amount of fruit immediately upon opening, later the palate tones down a bit, and while it retains a medium oiliness, it is much less sweet than the usual new world Chardonnay. Very nice balance with some citrus without having too high acidity. After a while in the open bottle, a nice stony finish of medium length. Nice Chablis and am looking forward to trying some of the more expensive Fevre's. 89-90
