Monday, August 15, 2005 - I tasted this at the winery, and I was not very impressed. It was very coppery, it tasted almost surgical (?). Or at least that is what I was thinking. The nose was green. Tasted very tight and underdeveloped. The fruit was overwhelmed by the coppery/calcium flavors. The predominant flavors that I noticed were metallic, bloody, and green like unripe fruit. I have a bottle and I hope that it will age well. I would not drink it for another couple years. I hope that what I tasted was just a bad bottle or that it was not handled correctly.
