Sunday, January 26, 2020 - Yellow and golden color. A wine with high viscosity. Very perfumed nose of honey, litchi, flowers and little hints of something like sweet and savory smoke. The taste is sweet with a warm and embracing mouthfeel. Definitely a heavy white, and not something to drink as a refreshing appetizer. Had this wine to a cup of savory and sweet French Onion Soup with a generous amount of melted gruyère cheese on butter roasted bread - a decadent wine for a decadent dish I guess.
