Sunday, October 13, 2013 - I see what AG is getting at with this one. It has a ton of energy but it is all bound up. Red fruited but very twangy in that pinot way along with tart acidity, it practically bounces off the tongue with energy. Needs some time to settle in but it has great depth. Brilliant pinot but for now you have to focus on it. 93++.

Day 3 update- just a cork in the fridge. Best day yet. Med+ body. Outstanding perfume of cool macerated red berries. This is bursting with sour cherry, cranberry, a lithe thread of licorice, subtle blanket of seasoning, and strawberry with a rhubarb like herbaceousness. No oak. Still very structured, very balanced, and good grip. This is unbelievable pinot and what a promising future. 94+.
