Friday, July 6, 2012 - Opened and decanted for about 30 minutes at the restaurant. Youthful looking wine -- blood red but not purplish black color. Wasn't giving much on the nose or palate for that matter. It was rather tight. Juiicy, red plums with integrated tannins. 88 pts.
Drank the remaining bottle the following day, and the wine showed what I've had in the past. Milk chocolate, wet earth, and some floral notes on the nose and chocolate covered cherries on the palate.
