Friday, April 25, 2014 - From a bottle kindly provided by K.J., this wine was sampled by our tasting group in single-blind fashion. Opaque garnet in color, it has a nice bouquet of black currants, tobacco, eucalyptus and dried herbs. Full-bodied and fresh on the palate, it frames similar flavors with medium sweet tannins and seamless alcohol. Nicely "stuffed" in the middle, the wine closes with a medium-to-long, tart finish. This is a mature Cabernet with much appeal. Enjoy it over the next 5-6 years. Drink now-2020.
