Sunday, January 11, 2015 - This wine opened up nicely after breathing for a couple hours. On open, it had a classic floral and red fruit bouquet with a background aroma from the alcohol. At first taste the fruit was terribly muted and a hot alcohol dominated. A few hours later though it opened to a nicely balanced cab. Red fruits come through nicely. Touch of vanilla adds to a nice every day cab. There is still a flawed off flavor in the background and it clearly lacks the structure and complexity of anything truly great but it's a solid wine.
