Sunday, January 24, 2021 - Surprise! I wasn’t expecting as much when I opened this but I was pleasantly surprised. Needed about 90 min of air to fully come alive but it was pretty well on its way at 30 min. Nose of red/blue berry and an acidity/mineral scent. On the palate, it was crisp, but had a fair amount of body - tannin soft - and layered. I picked a fair amount of stone, gravel along with spiced plum and a bit of leather. A really good showing.
