Saturday, April 12, 2008 - Decanted for two hours, this wine showed lovely dark fruit, earth, mineral and pencil lead flavors, excellent balance and texture. Long, rich finish. Absolutely delicious now, and will improve with more time. Paired with rack of lamb, it worked perfectly. We all liked it more than the 1994 Staglin which followed.
