Sunday, October 16, 2022 - Yeah, I found another one in my cellar !! Still tasting really good right now !! At peak and delicious !! I agree with my tasting note note of two months ago, this bottle was better balanced than the last.
Perfect cork, easily removed after over a decade in the bottle. Dark ruby color with excellent clarity. Consumed over two days, not much difference the second day. I found this bottle to be well balanced, typical of Carrignane. Aromas of cranberry and raspberry. Flavors of tart cherry and plum. Fruit from the 100-year old Lucchesi Vineyard in the sandy soil of Contra Costa County CA. Good wine making by Matt Cline. A wine that has aged well. This time this is truly my last bottle of the vintage.
