Sunday, May 26, 2013 - Solid nose with intense, dark, young nebbiolo fruit. Shows more character and style than usual on this level. Some spice, black tea, balsa wood and pine resin. Could easily be misstaken for a light, young barolo. Lots of structure on the palate with good acidity and tannins. Needs food. Will benefit from a couple of years in the cellar and will probably continue to drink well for at least 10 years after that.
