Saturday, April 4, 2015 - Quite elegant and refined, this iteration of the Hall Napa Cab offers aromas and flavors of black currants, pickling spice, dark chocolate, vanilla bean and supple touches of tobacco. Full-bodied, freshly acidic, seamlessly alcoholic (despite 14.9% on the label) and with ample sweet tannins, it builds in the middle and closes medium-to-long. This wine shows beautiful purity of fruit and has an underbelly of impressive structure. It should drink well for another decade or more. Drink now-2025.
