Saturday, May 30, 2015 - First tasted this wine in the barrel back in 2012 and made a small investment in futures. First tasting at the winery later on suggested something a little green. Now with Copper River salmon in season I thought it was time to revisit.

Few wines fill the Vinum Extreme with such opulence as do those of White Rose; this one quite potently fragrant with some resiny notes. Fairly pale but bright glittering red. Notable acid, but now much more fruit emerging, tart cherry and redcurrants, quite bracing. I liken this vintage somewhat to 2007 and would venture that in four years it will be quite something better.
