Sunday, May 7, 2006 - When we opened this bottle, my biggest regret was: why did I read all the CT notes? Why didn't I let it sleep for another 10-30 years? I started to understand other people disapointments after we let the first pour sit in the glass for 20 minutes and wine just faded away. We drunk the rest fast, pour and drink, pour and drink, no philosophical discussions, and out of the bottle the wine was gorgeous Bordeax, quintessential Bordeaux and Bordeaux full of pedegree, class and immerse pleasure. If I decide to spend another $320 for this bottle, I won't let it breath. 17 years young, slight brick on the rim, this wine has everything to go a distance.
