Dark pronounced well balanced jammy flavors of fruit engulfed in gritty tastes of meat and tobacco. The taste is long lasting as well. One of Larry's better vintages for Rattlesnake petites. Or is it that the rattlesnakes have preserved those grapes well? Only regret is that Dominque's up the street from the White House in DC has been closed now for thirty or so years so can not BYOB this cuvee to enjoy with that restaurant's rattlesnake appetizers. I've got two bottles of this vintage left, one that I'll pop in the near future and the other in 2026 or so.
