Monday, July 21, 2014 - Pretty dark red in color, opened for 2 hours before serving. Nose with dark fruit, damp earth, leather and some residual oak and spices. Palate with a lot of kick and overall a powerful wine with some tannins in the back. Still very primary despite the age, very oaky by DRC standard, should cellar for another 3-5years to show its best.
