Monday, July 15, 2019 - Cellar tracker app indicated 2017 as outside maturity year. So I opened it fearful it was past it’s prime. It was drinking great. One sixteen is a complicated wine. Some love it some don’t. I’ve never been a huge fan but have bought it to keep my allocation volumes. I stopped buying it on 16. This one, an 11, is my oldest one sixteen. These wines need time. Color is goldish, texture is more creamy, complexity has softened. Very enjoyable.
