Surprising fruit for a 17-year-old Cab Franc from Washington, but the vineyard pedigree here shows through. However, at this age and wearing its 14.8% alcohol, it was showing just a touch medicinal and overripe / pruned. I bet this was great seven - 10 years ago and, while we still enjoyed it for what it was, its best years were in the past. Drink up!
