Friday, February 28, 2014 - Nice clarity and dark garnet hue and dense color, and not a lot of translucence for a Pinot Noir. Smells are vanilla, raspberry, dark chocolate, and dark cherries. The tastes are cherry, black olive, spicy notes, and earthy notes of fall leaves and stone. This is a pleasant wine with a little heat and extracted fruit. The tannins are furry and dry and the body is medium to heavy. This is a pleasant wine.
