Sunday, March 29, 2015 - This wine is super extracted with massive fruit. It is not for everyone but it is impressive what has been achieved with regards to the ripeness and density of the fruit. The alcohol is noticeable on the finish and this could pass off as a port. We compared it to other premium Napa 07s and finished it off next to a port - this had the most fruit of the cabs and was close to the port. It needs decanting and will show different layers of flavors. Curious how it will develop over time once the fruit calms down.
