Monday, March 31, 2014 - Nice pinot fruit with a bit of sweet tart like acidity. Nice spice and appropriately ripe fruit with decent depth and mid weight structure. Enjoyable and holds up in the bottle for two days. A bit narrow on the palate the first night, but rounds out on days two and three with decent depth, and while reasonably balanced it lacks presence: not altogether unreasonable for an AOC Bourgogne. Good probably very good, but maybe not the value (at least as US prices) that I usually get from this producer. Enjoyable if not terribly memorable. 88 pts.
