Sunday, February 23, 2014 - Deep ruby color with great body with beautiful legs. Leather, tobacco and plumb very prominent on the nose. Loads of tannins signaling great longevity with this wine. Firm with some dark fruit/plum on the front of the palate with some spiciness on the finish. Still a bit hot an tannic so I should have kept cellared for a few more years but I love wines from Stags Leap district and Pine Ridge is just a consistently good wine. Try to be patient and keep this cellared for another 3-5 years but if you can't wait you will still have an awesome wine that approaches others from Stags Leap that are much more expensive.
